Bead Journal Project

One of the things I was able to do after the surgery was bead, so here is the finished Bead Journal Projects for June. I had these wonderful, tiny MOP buttons and wanted to use them. I kept the piece simple as was my life for the past 5 weeks. Like the rest of the world, last evening we had a terrific wind, rain, thunder and lightning storm. The power was only out for 2 1/2 hrs., but that took care of dinner-salad and sandwiches. It was a good excuse to just read as long as it was light. It's amazing how much we depend on electricity.

I'm pleased to see I have followers, so I know I'm not just talking to myself and love the comments.

I love the brightness of this piece and even though the mop beads are so simple...they work! It's fun to use up some of our stash.

Keepin' It Simple - You did it so beautifully. MOP buttons are exquitiste and what a wonderful way to showcase them!!!! What is the background fabric? And what is under the beads??? Glad you could bead during your recovery time. Hooray for beading! Robin A.

the piece IS simple....SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! Isn't amazing how the simplicity of a piece can sometimes overpower the beauty of a more elaborate one.

Definitely not talking to yourself, Sandy!!! Your work is ALL beautiful AND you definitely deserve the attitude award! I really like this piece too, definitely simpler than your previous ones, but no less striking in beauty. SO glad you are feeling better!
