BJP, TIF, Gifts

I decided to combine the Bead Journal Project http://beadjournalproject.blogspot.com/ piece with the Take It Further Challenge http://sharonb.wordpress.com/ using the color scheme again this month. The sequins are put on with rows of back stitch. For the green, I also used back stitch. Next I put on the big beads to determine where I wanted to group the seeding of smaller beads.
These are the gifts I received recently from the exchange for Unlimited Textiles. The theme was Passion. The brooch is from Liz and is so much fun to wear-lots of wonderful comments. The Quiltie is from Sue K and is wonderful to pet. I love crazy quilt and embellishments, so it is perfect.
I would like to thank everyone who visits my blog. The internet has given me great efriends. Not everyone has a contact for me to get back to, but I would if I could.

I do love your beaded piece, Sandy. It's very organic, like an exotic seed pod. Will you mount and frame it, or keep it as a sample? What size is it? Glad the quiltie arrived safely. You've done some lovely work. Sorry re: my porevious, now deleted messae - only because I only noticed the typos after my finger had clicked publish.

Oooooh! I really like this enigmatic piece! It makes me think of pregnancy, birth, seed pods and galexies. Excellent!

Two birds with one stone, eh? Wish I could do that this month. I haven't even started my TIF. All my fabrics are in boxes (I gave my glass doored cupboard to my husband- very big mistake) so it's hard to go through and find what I want. Makes me put it off but the end of the month is coming up. Gotta get to it - and to my BJP! So you just sit back and relax and know that you were one clever lady to combine the two and get it all done!!

Sandy your TIF is lovely - very graphic and really makes you look at the tiny details!

I really like your beaded piece. Very strong composition. What did you use for the 3 yellow centers?
