A friend gave each of us a fat quarter of fabric with the ladies on it in green, blue, and purple. I made crazy quilt from all of them. The green ones I did a little embroidery on and then gave one to each quilt group member to see what they would make. Some made pillows, a purse, and a book cover. The red ones I turned into little totes and sold at the gallery that carried my things.
Most of these are now finished, but I have no idea what I will do with them. I don't put beads on them until I know. Any ideas?I always have a crazy quilt project in the works, as I like to stitch, and that is a perfect excuse. I also have a tote packed with all the supplies for any time I need to suddenly go somewhere. I'm not a nurse but seem to have become the family care giver.

Sandy!! This is such beautiful work!! The colors and embroidery are gorgeous. I have no suggestions, but if I know you, you'll turn them into something wonderful!

They look simply delish! Now if it were me, Id want to hang them, one above the other, as a wallhanging.
You could do it all fun and kitsch and hang them from eachother by pound shop/dollar store glasses, in keeping with the ladies glasses maybe? But the glasses on the diagonal maybe so it doesnt make the hanging too long?
Or hang by strips of wood, mahogany stained for a more dignified style? Then pic k out the mahogany with beads?
But as Carol said you always seem to have the perfect finish in any case!

These blocks are so much fun. I love all your embroidery work. I totally understand why everyone wants you to take care of them. I would too!! Have fun with the grandkids.

These are beautiful! Your stitching is so perfect I was going to ask if you machine stitched! Framed, wall hanging, journal cover, tote - anyway you use will be perfect.
