 Here's another flower I beaded for Nancy Eha's class. This is probably my favorite.

The beaded Feather Stitch reminds me of sea weed.

It was fun to do and used some of my sheer stash!

I don't know why I can get on today, but I decided to schedule this extra blog. If I haven't comment on your blog, it's because the thing won't let me unless there is a feature that I can do it with just my name. Maybe it's telling me that 5 years is enough of blogging, but I enjoy having the need to come up with items to show.

Here's my final project from the www.joggles.com class called Flower Power that Janet Clark taught. The motif is from her earlier class on water soluble work.

The fabric is silk velvet that I painted. The handles were ones that I had forever, so it was nice to find the right place for them. It was a good class.

I've been taking a Tunsian Crochet class at www.craftsy.com

 The first projects are these squares which are supposed to be washclothes but that I will make into an afghan. They teach 3 different stitches.

This is a 3 color one, although the blue and blue green are close in value. The limiting factor was the yarn available at Joanne's. It's a bamboo acrylic blend and nice to work with. The nice thing about this is getting color and only having to weave in the ends at the beginning and end. Cool technique.

The Craftsy courses have been good. They have a free Block of the Month class to give you the idea of how they work and if they will work for you.

Class Projects

I've folded some Lutradur to make a double page using the instructions from the extras Lynda Monk and Carol McFee included in the Simply Salt class they offered at www.fibre-in-form.com
It's easy to do and has lots of possibilities. I'm always fascinated by creating pockets in the pages for all the treasures we have.
