Here are 4 black and white blocks of a motif I'm playing with. I think it has possibilities.
I made it up in black and 2 African fabrics. The one with the gold is so dominant that it is almost hard to look at.

I love the black & white -- very striking!
love that b&w, that is a very cool design. I like the gold one too - what a great way to use those African fabrics.
Love the black and white one. I think it would love great with a little bit of bold color (lime green or red) every once in a while.
