Bead Journal Project

Here is April for the Bead Journal Project. I had the antique buttons and felt that they would be good flowers on this batik. I just beaded some of the leaves, so they would come forward, and there would still be a background. My unifying theme this year is the journal size and the batik background.

These colors dance - right up my autumn palette!

Lovely.... I have that material and now see how pretty it would be done with flowers. The colors pick up the colors in the material so well. Lise

Oooooh,Sandy! This is the most beautiful enchancement to a batik fabric that I've ever seen... It's just right... perfect... the way you changed colors of beads and the amount of the fabric covered, the flow of the beading enhancing the flow of the fabric design and the beautiful buttons that cause the eyes to stop, rest and feel happy! Can you tell that I LOVE it?? Robin A.
