Class Tester

Sue has put out a pattern for a mini journal. It's such a nice size, and the pattern is easy to follow. I used the pages of an old atlas rescued from the Goodwill Bins. Most of them relate to where I've lived or where family is. On this front I live off the bottom of the map.
Here's the spine.

This is the inside. You can get the pattern at: http://suebleiweiss.typepad.com/sueb/minijournal.html

I absolutely LOVE the way you did this journal!!!! I've done some with a different binding, but where the signatures are wrapped with either painted papers or, as you did, with maps, sheet music, "plates" from old books. You can see one of mine here. I've also done a binding similar to yours, but strung beads along the spine... see here. Seeing your book and reading your blog makes me want to paint and make books again! Robin A.

It's great Sandy! You put me to shame by all the lovely things you make. I think Sue has really excelled herself with that journal pattern.
