Quilt

This is the latest piece, and I can't decide which way is up! Please help and let me know if one appeals to you more than another.
I started with a small piece of fabric-about 8" by 8" -that I had painted sometime in the past. It is layered with cheesecloth on it.I tacked down a gold trim with running stitch then tacked the cheesecloth with random straight stitch. Next came the needlelace in green. The border was broken up with the gold insert to carry the gold trim idea to the edge. To tie it all together, I did a stem stitch in green Perle Cotton between the painted piece and the border.
My other request to you is a name. Anyone who has followed by blog knows that I'm not a word person and have a problem with names. I will send an ATC to whomever comes up with the name I use.

I like the second view the best. The colours evoke thoughts of a garden...green leaves, colouful blossoms, so I'm suggesting: 'Garden Fractures'.

no name suggestion, but that is a fabulous piece Sandy, I just love everything about it.

Hmm, I spent a good five minutes or so trying to figure out which one I like the best. It's definitely the first one.

As for a name, the whole image reminds me of mermaids, maps, sunset. My name suggestion is Sunset Lagoon.

I like either the top one or the bottom one. The darker colors are heavier and seem to need to grow up from the bottom. This is so inspiring...I would call it Inspriation Defined or just plain Inspiration!

All four look so different:
1. Shoe Tangle
2. Boot Maze
3. Aerobatics
4. Free Fall

very nice Sandy. There's an image in there that makes me think of a trumpet flower.

I like your piece very much. My favorite is the second version and I would call it Summer Garden.

Very nice. Your second piece also reminds me of a trumpet flower growing on a vine. I have them growing on my back deck and they are sooo beautiful. The hummingbirds love them.... how about humming in the garden? Lise
