Art and Soul followup

Wow! Lots of comments on the beading. Maybe I should give up the rest and just bead. Nah, I love it all. Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. I enjoy meeting all of you.

More pieces in the style that I learned in the Art and Soul workshop with Beryl Taylor. She makes up lots of these units to have available when she needs them. It's been a wonderful thing to do while I've had to be around to take care of Jake after his second surgery. It was easy to start and stop whenever he needs to go outside. He seems to be doing fine, but I'm to take him on leash for 3 more weeks to be safe this time.

I envy you being on Beryl Taylor's workshop. I love her work and at least I have her book which I refer to often. Your pieces are lovely and I'm sure you will make beautiful things with them.

Sandy, thank you very much for your comment on my blog. I like the prepared components and the idea of them in general. I don't know Beryl Taylor, but will check up on her and her book.

I was going to contact you anyway after seeing your comment to Robin Atkin's latest blog post. You put it into a nutshell: If you do not first take care of yourself, you will not be able to help others. I found out the hard way.

All the best,
Sabine

these are all wonderful Sandy. I can see where having these pre made units on hand would really help to fuel the creative process.

That would have been a great workshop to do, will look forward to seeing how you use the pieces. Hope your dog recovers well.
