Bead Journal Project

Here is my April cuff for the Bead Journal Project. I've been experimenting with alternate closures and find that a dressmaking snaps works well-besides I have lots of them in my supplies. It can be moved to fit other wrists too.

The cuff is roving felted to a piece of wool felt using the Embellisher. I do block it with lots of steam and the iron.  The machine quilting is with metallic thread.

This detail shows the flower and leaf beads I'm been wanting to use. I always collect them, but rarely use them.

I applaud your use of beads collected but seldom used! Recently did a project in which i used an assortment of bigger beads i ahve collected for years, very satisfying! -sus

Hi Sandy, lovely beaded cuff, congratulations. I like simple closures too. Love the colour of this one, would go beautifully with a new blouse I've bought. Happy stitching.

Lovely, Sandy! It's like wearing a beautiful, spring garden on your wrist! The felt must feel good too.
