Bead Journal Project

This is the Journal quilt for March for the Bead Journal Project. I decided to fuse a butterfly motif to the background and bead it. Then it needed a ribbon flower to fly to.

I have to agree with the others. The colors are soooo saturated you feel like you could sink right into them. Very Nice!

Beautiful, Sandy!!! Did you use any paint on the butterfly? I love how the beads and fabric have energy and movement... makes it seem so real. Your silk ribbon flower is a great balance to the composition! Robin A.

What a lovely, beautiful piece. I just want to be in it, among all the blues and greens, and maybe explore with the butterfly!

Such lovely blues and greens, not to speak of the overall arrangement! A most pleasant piece to look at. It must be nice to the touch, too.
