This is the small piece I made for April for the Take If Further Challenge organized by Sharonb http://sharonb.wordpress.com I don't care for browns, so it's quilted in a variegated blue.Thanks to everyone who comments. I really enjoy hearing from everyone and try to get back to them, if I can find a way.

you're a genious Sandy - I would have never been able to make this combination of colors work but you did it beautifully!
Very striking. These colors have given me a lot of trouble (and I DO like brown!) but your piece shows it can be done, and done beautifully. I'm going back to my drawing board!

It turned out very nice. I am not a fan of brown either but the blues take away from it and the stitching in blue worked great.
