This month's theme for the quiltie exchange is Nature Inspired. I used the thread lace background on dyed fabric with silk leaves hand stitched using metallic thread. The flower is crocheted and attached with beads.

Where did that old saying come from 'blue and green should never be seen' when they look stunning together in this piece. Very effective Sandy.

Beautiful! I've used blue and green together for years - after all, Nature has blue skies behind green trees, and I've always loved that combination :)
