This is the piece I'm doing for the Sumptuous Surfaces class from www.joggles.com . I was going to add to it to make it encrusted, but I think I like it this way. What do you think?
I agree with Sue and Sue B, this piece is beautiful in itself, the colors are great and the stitching is perfect... however, as it is for the sumptuous surfaces, I would add something, to add so relief. If you are not sure, you should ask Sharon, she'll give you her advice. And I repeat, it is beautiful in itself.
I think it looks great the way it is - I like the colours and movement. I think even though it is for SS - it doesnt have to be highly textured - sometimes less IS more!

I really like the flow of the stitched lines. Very nice!

This piece looks complete as it is, perhaps you could make another one and embellish that to see the difference????
I'm inclined to agree with Pat Sandy. This is just lovely as it is. It must have taken you an age. You've put the colours together really well.
Sandy,
I think it's great. It's often tough to know when to say 'enough', and I think you've got it perfectly this time!
I love it just as it is Sandy - it is really stunning! Beautiful colours and incredible stitching.
This is so beautiful. I wouldn't do a single thing extra on it, it is so effective.
That is a beautiful piece. Love the texture and rhythm of it. The color too.
