Shopping

Look at the two pieces of fabric both 2 yds. that I found at Goodwill.  Luckily, I tested the first one before putting it in the washer for the jeans wash. There was so much excess dye that it took two rinses and a complete wash with Synthropol to get the water to run clear.

This one did no bleeding. They are both cotton. It's fun to get a bargain but always a wise idea to test things.

Hi, Sandy. I see you snagged a couple of beauties, but only 2? My flea market treasures are usually worn enough that I don't have to worry about excess dye. I like the patina of age.
best, nadia

Batiks - one of my favourite fabrics and especially the colourful top one. I collected heaps of batik sarong lengths from Jakarta and they're still waiting for me!!
How are you going to use these Sandy?

Both pieces are gorgeous! I love that top one - such great colors in that one. What a great find!
