Here is another journal quilt for the challenge at
www.3creativestudios.com It is piece of fabric that I had marbled years ago that became a good opportunity to try quilting with the decorative stitches on the machine. Chenille yarn is zigzagged to the edge. The buttons create a focal point.

I'm back from a visit to Houston, Texas to visit our son and his family. The kids made me this artwork. The back has hand prints with their signatures in them-a treasure to keep for years. It's always good to see them-wish they didn't live so far away.

Very pretty, Sandy, and so creative. The buttons are the perfect finishing touch. Love your grandchildren's artwork. Don't they just melt your heart with things like this? It would be perfect framed in one of those table-top standing frames that has glass on both sides.
Sandy I always love checking your blog. You are so prolific. Such a wide variety of things that you do. Everything looks different, beautiful. Julie Cook
Awww . . . I'm sure you're going to treasure that piece of art.
