This is May for the Bead Journal Project. The background is roving felted to wool, then machine quilting in metallic thread. The fused glass is glued down then beaded around using the back stitch. Random beading accents the blue and green to echo the colors in the glass. I do like using accent pieces and am pleased to use up some of the many I buy.

I can just see this piece, framed, in a Modern Art Museum!!! I love the way the colors seem to drip, like paint and the way it all flows. Sweeeeeeet!
stunning!
It does look very 'Modern Art'- gorgeous colours too.
the colors just offset and compliment each other so beautifully. i agree...modern art!
I love the deep red in this piece and the way the dribbles of colors set off the cab. Really nice work!
Very, very pretty, and I agree that it's like a modern art museum piece.
The texture and colour in this piece is amazing! I like the way you restrained yourself from beading too much. It's much more expressive that way.
I love how this piece just pops... very visually stunning. Love it when the "seeming simplicity" of a project makes such a great statement.
Thanks for sharing!!
