Here is May's Journal quilt for http://andmorebjp08.blogspot.com I tried to bead the faint area on the left, but it spit the beads out, so I decided to keep it simple. It goes along with all the medical stuff and surgery to keep the rest of my life basic. I'm on the mend enough to want to spend at least part of today in my studio.

Oooh, I like it, I like it. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
Lovely...I just read your brush with Cancer. OMG, thank goodness you are on the mend & creating such lovely items.

ps...when I went to put in my word verification the word was "HEAL AT" AWESOME!
The faint area on the left is a fabulous echo of the focal piece. Lovely!
WOW , that is beautiful Sandy.
Have a great weekend
Hi Sandy
As they say, less is more! The beaded flower is a perfect compliment to the faint flowers that didn't want beads.
Glad you're feeling better.
Carol
I think it's gorgeous just as it is Sandy and I like the contrast between the faded area and the beaded area.
Hi Sandy ~ This is very lovely! I think the shape on the left is like a shadow of the one on the right, or even a ghost, and better left unbeaded as you decided. ~ I too just caught up on the past few posts and am so glad the tumor was caught before it turned to cancer and that you're feeling better now. If you feel like it, I'd like to know more about how you knew something was amiss. Did you have a routine cancer marker test? ~ You are a prolific and multi-talented artist, Sandy! I love your stitching samplers, quilties and everything you do. Hugs, Robin A.
Oh Sandy, another gorgeous BJP! I always love your choice of fabrics and beads and how your beading highlights the fabric (or vice versa)?? Anyway... Love it AGAIN! Wish I could see all your pieces in real life!
Hope you are still feeling good and mending!!!
It's just gorgeous Sandy - keep up the good work (all round!)
