Books, gifts

When asked what I wanted for Mother's Day, I said a Bind It All. My husband is always pleased when it's something I'll order and take care of. Then I get exactly what I want. The green book is the first one I made following Sueb's http://suebleiweiss.typepad.com/ excellent tutorial on http://www.joggles.com/ The ones that come with it leave something to be desired.

The orange book I made yesterday, and it is better with the pages in the right place. I see a lot of books in the future. The covers are collaged on mat board with painted tissue paper. A friend and I did them ages ago but didn't know how to make the books.

These were given to me as a thank you for showing my friends how to make the necklace a couple of weeks ago. There are 2 styles of grunge book and 5 wonderful lampwork beads waiting to be made into another necklace. This friend is always doing something nice like this.

Those notebooks look great! Love that green one. I just got a package of grungeboard the other day. Haven't opened it yet though. Looks like it will be fun to play with.

I like your new books. How fun that you can make them yourself now. Don't you just love new gadgets?

Hi Sandy,

You have been tagged for a meme. If you go to my blog you will see 6 questions to answer if you choose to do so. Then you get to tag 5 or 6 others to do the same. Great way to learn a little bit about our cyberfriends.

Thanks,
Arline
