Class

Here is the piece I did in Kari McKnight's class  http://backporchartessa.blogspot.com  at Portland's Art and Soul. What a giving, fun teacher.  It is on a stretched canvas which is something I haven't done much of. The scenes are copies of photos I took from a canoe on a river in central Oregon. Leaves and Nature-always my theme. The writing is my motto-I am of the Earth.

    I love it, Sandy. There's something wonderful about working on stretched canvas, like the piece is more real in some way!
